植物の木部分化を促進するポリアミンとオーキシン誘導体
ザイレミン二塩酸塩(1)は，高橋および本瀬らによってユニークな機能を見出されたポリアミンです1)。1は，植物ホルモンであるオーキシンの誘導体(2,4-D IOE，2)と併用することで，維管束の木部分化を抑制するサーモスペルミンの合成が阻害され，木部分化が著しく促進されます。1は，バイオマスエネルギーや農薬の研究開発への応用が期待されます。
