Oligosaccharide Series from Natural ResourcesOligosaccharides are sugar compounds in which monosaccharides are combined with each other through the glycosidic bond, and basically have a molecular weight of about 300 to 3000. Disaccharides such as sucrose and lactose are also members of this group, but in general, those from trisaccharides to approximately 20 mer are often called oligosaccharides. The oligosaccharides, which are well-known so far, have been widely discovered in the animals and plants. They are also identified as an area of advanced research, where new oligosaccharides are still being discovered from various natural resources.

NLRP3 Inflammasome InhibitorsIt has been reported that NLR family pyrin domain- containing protein 3 (NLRP3), a pattern recognition receptor, forms a complex called NLRP3 inflammasome in response to irritating metabolites and pathogens, and induces the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, Interleukin (IL)-1β and IL-18. In recent years, it has become clear that excessive activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome is closely related to the development of various inflammatory diseases. Therefore, inhibitors that suppress the activity of the NLRP3 inflammasome have been attracting attention.

DAB Staining Kit to Detect Peroxidase3,3'-Diaminobenzidine is an enzymatic substrate that reacts with horseradish peroxidase (HRP) in the presence of hydrogen peroxide to form a brown precipitate that is insoluble in water. DAB is used in dot blotting, western blotting, and immunohistochemical staining to detect HRP-labeled antibodies. DAB staining kit [D5909] includes DAB solution, hydrogen peroxide solution, and reaction buffer for ease of use. Each reagent is contained in a dropper bottle, which allows you to add a fixed volume of reagent to the reaction and helps prevent chemical exposure.

Fluorescent Organosilica Nanoparticles for Biological ImagingOrganosilica nanoparticles are suitable for the detection of biomolecules due to the diameter of 100 nm. The surfaces of organosilica FITC [O0561] (Ex max : 492 nm, Em max : 523 nm), and organosilica rhodamine B [O0573] (Ex max : 556 nm, Em max : 579 nm) are functionalized with thiol group. Organosilica nanoparticles have been used to fluorescently label cells for detection by conjugating them to antibodies . It has also been reported that organosilica nanoparticles administered to mice intravenously can accumulate in cancer tissue; this, coupled with the strong fluorescence signal characteristic of organosilica nanoparticles, has allowed for near effortless live imaging of cancer tissue.
