Application
Azilsartan: a Strong Angiotensin II Type 1 (AT1) Receptor Blocker (or Antagonist) (abbrev: ARB)

Azilsartan, an angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptor blocker (or antagonist) (abbrev: ARB), combines strongly with human AT1 receptor. Compared to other ARB, dissociation of azilsartan from the receptor is extremely slow. It is the active metabolite of azilsartan medoxomil. For your reference, [M2797] and [M3197] are synthetic intermediates of azilsartan. (The product is for research purpose only.)
