  Thionylimide Derivatives for Synthesis of Sulfonimidamides

BiPhONSO and TrNSO are utilized in the one-pot synthesis of sulfonimidamides. BiPhONSO gives the corresponding sulfonimidamides when treated with a Grignard reagent and an amine. On the other hand, TrNSO is known to give sulfonimidamide via a chlorinated intermediate.


 Bidentate Diamine Ligands for Cu-Catalyzed C-N Coupling

Aryl bromides are applicable to drug-like compounds containing heterocyclic rings. C-N coupling of aryl bromides with amines is possible using diamine bidentate ligands N-([1,1'-Biphenyl]-2-yl)-N'-(2-phenylnaphthalen-1-yl)benzene-1,2-diamine and N1-[3',5'-Di-tert-butyl-[1,1'-biphenyl]-2-yl]-N2-[2-(3,5-di-tert-butylphenyl)naphthalen-1-yl]benzene-1,2-diamine with copper salts at room temperature. Furthermore, N-([1,1'-Biphenyl]-2-yl)-N'-(2-phenylnaphthalen-1-yl)benzene-1,2-diamine has also been reported to be applicable to C-O coupling.

RAFT polymerization has attracted considerable attention due to the need for research and development of highly functional materials in the industrial and medical fields. Fluorescent Dye Used as a Lysosomal Targeting Probe

Green DND-26

Green DND-26 is a fluorescent dye that stains acidic organelles in living cells. Green DND-26 consists of a weak base moiety and a fluorophore, which emits strong fluorescence (Exmax: 504 nm, Emmax: 511 nm) by a selective accumulation in acidic cell organelles in living cells due to its weak base moiety. Lysosomes are one of the intracellular organelles responsible for the degradation of intracellular and extracellular components and contain various acidic degradation enzymes. Therefore, Green DND-26 is currently in use as a lysosomal targeting probe.

A769662 is a cell-permeable activator of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK). A769662 was found to directly stimulate partially purified rat liver AMPK with EC50 = 0.8 μM and inhibited fatty acid synthesis in primary rat hepatocytes with IC50 = 3.2 μM.
