Application
Atractylodin: An Active Ingredient of Atractylodes rhizome
Atractylodin is an active ingredient of the essential oil extracted from Atractylodes rhizome, which is a traditional Chinese medicine used for the treatment of rheumatic diseases, digestive disorders, mild diarrhea, and night blindness. Atractylodin is a polyethylene alkyne and has been reported to improve the symptoms of cancer cachexia in animal models through anti-inflammation, regulation of the neuroendocrine pathway, and modulation of the ubiquitin-proteasome system or protein synthesis. (The product is for research purpose only.)
