Silsesquioxanes

Octaphenyloctasilsesquioxane (Product No. O0349), Octaisobutyloctasilsesquioxane (Product No. O0732), Octavinyloctasilasesquioxane (Product No. O0491) and Octakis(dimethylsilyloxy)octasilsesquioxane (Product No. O0351) are called polyhedral oligomeric silsequioxanes, siloxane compounds that form cage-like chemical structures via -Si-O- bonds. Their applications have been reported not only as supports for catalyst immobilization,1) nano-building blocks for functional material synthesis,2,3) additives for improving adhesive performance,4) and resin modifiers,5,6,7) but also in applied research within the biomedical field.8,9)
