Application
EPA Ethyl Ester: An Unsaturated ω-3 Fatty Acid Ester
EPA ethyl ester is an ester of EPA [E0441] which belongs to the class of unsaturated ω-3 (n-3) fatty acids and is rich in fish oil. EPA ethyl ester is approved to reduce triglyceride (TG) levels in blood since ω-3 fatty acids reduce TG levels. Recently, it has been reported that EPA ethyl ester have efficacy in depression, Huntington disease (HD) and et al., but these mechanism of actions are not fully understood. (The product is for research purpose only.)
