Application
A Key Synthetic Intermediates of Teneligliptin, a DPP-4 Inhibitor
[M3838] and its acetate [M3849] have been used as key synthetic intermediates of teneligliptin which is a dipeptidylpeptidase IV (DPP-4) inhibitor for use as an orally active antidiabetic agent.1-3) In 2024, Kobayashi et al. reported the synthesis of teneligliptin via a continuous-flow reductive amination of [M3838] using polysilane–Pd catalyst [D5958] or polysilane–Pt catalyst [D5959].3)
