Application
Kartogenin: A Chondrogenic and Chondroprotective Agent
Regenerative medicine has attracted attention for its ability to replace aged/damaged cells with genetically similar young and functional cells to restore or establish normal function. It has been reported that kartogenin is a small molecule that promotes the selective differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) into chondrocytes, and thus kartogenin stimulates cartilage regeneration. Kartogenin also has a chondroprotective effect. (The product is for research use only.)
