Application
MAC-TBS Reagent Usable for Three Component Coupling Reactions
Synthesis of an α-siloxy-Weinreb amide3): To a solution of aldehyde (1.0 mmol), DMHA·HCl (117 mg, 1.2 mmol), and 1 (236 mg, 1.2 mmol) in acetonitrile (3 mL) is added DMAP (244 mg, 2.0 mmol) at room temperature, and the resulting mixture is stirred for 2 h, and then concentrated in vacuo. The residue is purified by silica gel column chromatography to afford the corresponding product.
