Description
Protein G is a bacterial cell wall component of Group G Streptococci strains. It has high-affinity for IgG, allowing for IgG purification from a wide variety of species, including humans, rabbit, mouse, and bovine. Recombinant Protein G is produced in E. coli, and shows minimal to no differences in function between itself and native protein G.
Application
ELISA, Western Blotting.
As applications vary, each investigator must determine appropriate dilutions for individual use.
Storage
Store at −20 °C to −80 °C (Preferably at −80 °C). Storage at 4 °C is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
