Application
Ecabet Sodium: An Antiulcer and Gastroprotective Agent with Urease Inhibitory Activity
Ecabet sodium (TA-2711) is an antiulcer and gastroprotective agent. Many studies have indicated that ecabet sodium prevents the esophageal lesion by the inhibition of pepsin activity of gastric juice as well as the protection of the degradation of mucus, a defensive factor of mucosa. In addition, ecabet sodium shows bactericidal activity against H. pylori in acidic environments with inhibition of urease activity. (The product is for research purpose only.)
