Application
Lobenzarit Disodium: An Immunomodulator
Lobenzarit disodium is an immunomodulator and antioxidative agent. Its principle mechanism action seems to be through the subset of T cells. On the other hand, it does not inhibit the biosynthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes and is ineffective on acute inflammatory reactions induced in animals. Its hepatoprotective properties are also reported. In addition, the sustained-release tablets of it have been studied. It is used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). (The product is for research purpose only.)
