Application
Triptolide: A Diterpene Triepoxide with Potent Immunemodulation, Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-Tumor Properties
Triptolide, a diterpene triepoxide, is a major compornent in the extract of Chinese herb Tripterygium wilfordii Hook F (TWHF). Triptolide reportedly has multiple pharmacological activities including anti-inflammatory, immunemodulation, antiproliferative and pro-apoptotic activity. Triptolide cannot only induce tumor cell apoptosis directly, but can also enhance apoptosis induced by cytotoxic agents by inhibiting NFκB activation. (The product is for research purpose only.)
