Application
Clofazimine: A Lipophilic Riminophenazine Antibiotic
Clofazimine, a lipophilic riminophenazine antimicrobial, possesses both antimycobacterial and anti-inflammatory activities, and used in the treatment of mycobacterial diseases including leprosy. The antibiotic properties of clofazimine are not fully described. However, clofazimine works by binding to the bacterial DNA, thereby inhibiting bacterial proliferation. (The product is for research purpose only.)
