Application
Honokiol: A Natural Bioactive Neolignan Biphenol with Anti-Tumor Property etc.
Honokiol is a natural bioactive biphenyl-type neolignan isolated from the genus Magnolia. In recent studies, honokiol has been observed to have anti-angiogenic, anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and anti-oxidative properties in vitro and in vivo. Honokiol targets multiple signaling pathways including NF-κB, STAT3, EGFR, mTOR and caspase-mediated common pathway, which regulate cancer initiation and progression. For your reference, the chemical synthesis of honokiol has also been reported, and [T3468] is a synthetic intermediate. (The product is for research purpose only.)
