Diltiazem, a calcium channel antagonist, is a potent vasodilator and used in the treatment of hypertension, angina pectoris, and some types of arrhythmia. Diltiazem is metabolized by and acts as an inhibitor of cytochrome P-450 3A (CYP3A). (The product is for research purpose only.)
