Application
N-Oleoylethanolamine (N-Oleoylethanolamide): An Endogenous Fatty Acid Amide Belong To an Important Family of Lipid-Signaling Molecules

N-Oleoylethanolamine (N-oleoylethanolamide) is an endogenous fatty acid amide, belongs to N-acylethanolamines (NAEs) which are an important family of lipid-signaling molecules such as palmitoylethanolamide [P2670]. It binds with high affinity to the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-α (PPAR-α), a nuclear receptor that regulates several aspects of lipid metabolism. It has recently been described as a modulator of appetite that reduces food intake and body weight gain in rat feeding models. (The product is for research purpose only.)
