This product (4-methylbenzylidene camphor: 4-MBC) is an ultraviolet (UV) light filter used in cosmetics and sunscreens to protect the skin against UV radiation. It has also been reported that 4-MBC has endocrine disrupting properties, such as estrogenic activities. (The product is for research purpose only.)
