Molsidomine is a nitric oxide (NO) releasing prodrug used as a vasodilator. Molsidomine is metabolized in host's liver to form the active metabolite linsidomine. Linsidomine is an unstable compound that is degraded to nitric oxide in vitro. (The product is for research purpose only.)
