Application
Metamitron: A Photosystem II Electron Transport Inhibitor
Metamitron, a chemical synthetic triazinone herbicide, is a photosystem II (PSII) inhibitor. It is applied as a foliar spray, and is absorbed effectively through the leaf surface and the roots. The mode of action is to disrupt photosystem II, inhibiting electron transport.
