Desoximetasone (or Desoxymethasone): A Potent Topical Corticosteroid
Desoximetasone (or desoxymethasone) is a potent topical corticosteroid owing to its high affinity for glucocorticoid receptors. Corticosteroids play a role in cellular signaling, immune function, inflammation and protein regulation, and they are commonly used to control inflammation. However, there is no generally accepted explanation for the mechanism of action of corticosteroids. Desoximetasone ointment and spray are used in clinical. (The product is for research purpose only.)
