Application
Catalpol: An Iridoid Glycoside with Multiple Biological Activities
Catalpol is an iridoid glycoside found in many plant families and is mainly extracted from the root of Rehmannia glutinosa Libosch. Catalpol has been reported to have multiple biological activities, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, neuroprotective, and anti-diabetic properties through the regulation of signaling pathways. In addition, catalpol produced a significant reduction in cell proliferation and an increase in apoptosis in various cancer conditions. (The product is for research purpose only.)
