Application
Silylating Reagent for GC-ECD
Experimental procedure:
Hexane (1 mL), diethylamine (0.075 mL) and CMDMCS (0.09 mL) are mixed in a sealable vessel and centrifuged. The resulting supernatant (0.4 mL) is added to sample (100 μg) in ethyl acetate (0.1 mL) and refluxed for 30 min at 65 °C. The mixture is then promptly cooled to room temperature followed by adding hexane to adjust to the appropriate concentration. This solution is injected into GC.
