Amitraz, an Acaricide and Insecticide

Amitraz is an acaricide and insecticide. The action of amitraz is not thoroughly understood, but it is suspected to work by interfering with the nervous system of susceptible parasites. Because of the widespread use of amitraz, poisoning, resistance and the methabolites of it have been reported.
