Application
Tinidazole: A Nitroimidazole Antiprotozoal Agent
Tinidazole, a structural analog of metronidazole, has been widely used as an antiprotozoal agent. It is used for treatment of trichomoniasis, giardiasis, amebiasis, and amebic liver abscess. It can also be used to treat Helicobacter pylori infection. Tinidazole dosage forms have been studied because of its poor water solubility. (The product is for research purpose only.)
