Application
Highly Sensitive and Specific Enzymic Cycling Method
Highly sensitive and specific enzymic cycling methods have been developed for proteins, nucleotides and serum assay. Thionicotinamide-DPN disodium salt reduced form (abbrev: thio-NADH) and thionicotinamide-DPN oxidized form (abbrev: thio-NAD) [T2979] are used for this methods. The production rate of thio-NADH is measured by its absorbance at 404/660 nm, as against NADH at 340 nm. thio-NADH is also used for the detection of activated bleomycin [B3972] activity.
