Psoralidin: A Natural Furanocoumarin with Many Bioactivities
Psoralidin is a natural furanocoumarin isolated from the seed of Psoralea corylifolia that is an important medicinal plant which is used in several traditional medicines.1,2) Psoralidin has been reported to exhibit many bioactivities, such as anti-tumor3), anti-bacterial4), anti-oxidant5), anti-inflammatory6), and anti-depressant7) activities. In addition, psoralidin has been reported as an estrogen receptor signaling molecule.8) (The product is for research purpose only.)
