Triflupromazine Hydrochloride: A Classical Phenothiazine Typical Antipsychotic Agent
Triflupromazine hydrochloride is a classical phenothiazine typical antipsychotic agent such as trifluoperazine dihydrochloride[T2849]and perphenazine[P1970]. The mode of action of the phenothiazines currently not clear, but the antipsychotic and antianxiety effects are believed to be basically evoked by the limbic system and its connections with the hypothalamus. For reference, 2-(trifluoromethyl)phenothiazine[T1407]is a mother nucleus of triflupromazine. (The product is for research purpose only.)
