Application
A Cyclooxygenases (COX) Inhibitor, Sulindac Sulfide
Sulindac sulfide, an active metabolite of sulindac sulfoxide (sulindac) [U0099], is a cyclooxygenases (COX) inhibitor. In recent years, there has been growing interest in Sulindac sulfide and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) because of their anti-tumor activity. Studies with sulindac sulfide have been indicated that it may also function as an anti-tumor agent by stimulating apoptosis. (The product is for research purpose only.)
