Application
Imperatorin: An Inhibitor of Cyclin D1 Expression
Imperatorin is a furanocoumarin and a phytochemical isolated from herbal medicines such as Angelica dahurica. Imperatorin strongly inhibits cyclin D1 expression and arrests the cells at the G1 phase of the cell cycle. It is reported that imperatorin shows potent pharmacological activities including anticonvulsant, vasodilatation, antitumor, anti-inflammatory activities and affecting the activities of drug-metabolizing enzymes. (The product is for research purpose only.)
