Application
Entinostat: A Potent Histone Deacetylase (HDAC) Inhibitor
Entinostat (MS-275) is a potent histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor which enhances histone acetylation by inhibiting the deacetylation reaction by HDAC, and promotes the expression of a gene group that acts to suppress various carcinogenesis shows an antitumor effect.1-5) In addition, it has been reported that entinostat preferentially inhibits HDAC1 compared with HDAC3 and has little or no effect against HDAC6 and HDAC8.5) (The product is for research purpose only.)
