Application
三環性抗うつ薬ノルトリプチリン
Nortriptyline hydrochloride is a tricyclic antidepressant. The mechanism of action is currently not clear, but it is assumed that nortriptyline inhibits the reuptake of noradrenaline [A0906] in brain. Nortriptyline is metabolized by P450 enzyme CYP2D6 into trans-10-hydroxynortriptyline which is reported as an active form. Recently, nortriptyline hydrochloride is mainly used for smoking cessation. (The product is for research purpose only.)
