Description
Protein A is a type I membrane protein produced by several strains of Staphylococcus aureus. It has high-affinity binding sites that enable the purification of IgG obtained from various species such as humans, rabbit, mouse, and bovine. Recombinant Protein A is produced in E. coli and essentially functions in the same way as native Protein A.
Application
ELISA, Western Blotting.
Storage
Store at -20 ºC to -80 ºC (Preferably at -80 ºC). It is not recommended storing at 4 ºC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
