Buffer and Additives for LC Analysis of Oligonucleotides
Triethylammonium acetate solution is broadly utilized as an RP-HPLC buffer for the purification/analysis of oligonucleotides.1) It is also known that triethylamine/1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoroisopropyl alcohol (= HFIP) buffer improves ESI sensitivity in the detection of oligonucleotide LC-MS analysis.2)
TCI guarantees, that for triethylammonium acetate solution (1), triethylamine (2) and 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoroisopropyl alcohol (3) no UV absorption occurs in the analytical range of oligonucleotide. The suitable buffer solutions can be prepared by diluting 1 or mixing/diluting required amount of 2 and 3, respectively.
