Professor Chris Meier
Prof. Meier is Full Professor of Organic and Medicinal Chemistry, Vice Director of the Center for Structural Systems Biology (CSSB) in Hamburg, and President of the International Society of Nucleosides, Nucleotides and Nucleic Acids (IS3NA).
Prof. Meier and TCI cooperate in synthesis and supply of 5-Chloro-saligenyl-N,N-diisopropylphosphoramidite, [C3326], and Bis(Tetra-n-Butylammonium) Dihydrogen Pyrophosphate, [B5440], reagents for triphosphorylation of DNA and RNA snips. The mentioned material belongs to the group of phosphoramidites an inevitable group of starting materials for synthesis of oligonucleotides.
For successful synthesis, the use of booth starting materials, [C3326] and [B5440] are recommend.
The materials are easy to use with all equipment for synthesis of “Oligos”.
Triphosphorylated “Oligos” can be use for:
- Ligation of PCR products into a vector
- Activation of RIG-I protein
- Synthesis of m7G-capped triphosphorylated RNA
- Substrate DNA repair studies
- Permits labelling
- Further chemical modification
