Application
PhenoFluorTM Mix: Stable Agent for Deoxyfluorination
Experimental procedure: A mixture of 4-(methylsufonyl)phenol (88.8 mg, 0.500 mmol) and PhenoFluorTM Mix (1.10 g) in toluene (5.0 mL) is stirred at 23 °C for 30 min, then at 110 °C for 24 h. Purification by flash silica gel column chromatography (hexanes:EtOAc = 9:1 - 7:3) affords the desired compound as a colorless solid (86.4 mg, 99% yield).
