Description
- Protein A is a type I membrane protein produced by several strains of Staphylococcus aureus. It has high-affinity binding sites that enable the purification of IgG obtained from various species such as humans, rabbit, mouse, and bovine. Recombinant Protein A is produced in E. coli and essentially functions in the same way as native Protein A.
Storage
- Store at −20 °C to −80 °C (Preferably at −80 °C). Storage at 4 °C is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
