Application
T 0901317: An Orally Active and Highly Selective LXR Agonist
Liver X receptors (LXRs) are important regulators of cholesterol, fatty acid and glucose homeostasis. LXR agonists have been reported to be effective in the treatment of mouse models of atherosclerosis, diabetes and Alzheimer's disease. T 0901317 is an orally active and highly selective LXR agonist that induces apoptosis in cancer cells and inhibits the development of atherosclerosis in mice. (The product is for research use only.)
