Application
Mycophenolic acid (MPA): An Inhibitor of Inosine Monophosphate Dehydrogenase (IMPDH), Needed for the Growth of T Cells and B Cells
Mycophenolic acid (MPA) is an active metabolite of mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) [M2387] with immunosuppressant activity. MPA is a noncompetitive, selective and reversible inhibitor of inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH), an important enzyme in the de novo synthesis of guanosine nucleotides in T and B lymphocytes. (The product is for research purpose only.)
