Application
Dihydromyricetin (Ampelopsin): A Flavonoid Component of Herbal Medicines
Dihydromyricetin (also called ampelopsin) is a flavonoid component of herbal medicines. It has been reported that dihydromyricetin has antioxidant1,2), hepatoprotective3), anti-inflammatory4,5) and anti-cancer6,7) activities. Moreover, it has been recently reported that dihydromyricetin is can be effective for the treatment of alcohol use disorders (AUDs).8) In addition, the improvement of water solubility of dihydromyricetin using polymers is reported.9) (The product is for research purpose only.)
