LRRK2 Inhibitory Effect of SP600125
This product (SP600125) is an inhibitor of Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK), which is a stress-activated protein kinase that can be induced by inflammatory cytokines, bacterial endotoxin, osmotic shock, UV radiation, and hypoxia. In addition, there is a report that SP600125 inhibits LRRK2 (Leucine-rich repeat kinase 2) -G2019S, which is a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of Parkinson's disease, in the low micro-molar range.
