Mollugin: A Crude Medicine Ingredient Contained in a Traditional Chinese Medical Plant, Rubia cordifolia L.
Mollugin is a naphthohydroquine originally isolated from the root of the traditional Chinese medical plant Rubia cordifolia L.1) It has been reported to have a variety of biological activities, including anti-inflammatory activity2,3), neuroprotective activity3), antitumor activity4,5), and inhibitory activity in arachidonic acid- and collagen-induced platelet aggregation.6) (The product is for research purpose only.)
