Deltamethrin: A Synthetic Pyrethroid Insecticide
Deltamethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide based structurally on natural pyrethrins insecticide derived from Chrysanthemum cinerariifolium. Deltamethrin kills insects on contact and through digestion. Deltamethrin’s mechanism of action is thought to be mainly action in the central nervous system. Deltamethrin is widely used in agriculture, home pest control, protection of foodstuff and disease vector control. (The product is for research purpose only.)
