Ginkgolide B: A Diterpenoid Isolated from Ginkgo biloba Leaves
Ginkgolide B is an important active diterpenoid isolated from Ginkgo biloba leaves. The structure was first identified by Nakanishi et al. in 1967.1) Ginkgolide B has been reported to have platelet-activating factor receptor antagonist and neuroprotective effects.2-4)
