Application
Bufotalin: A Cardiotonic Phytosteroid with Anti-Tumor Activities
Bufotalin is a cardiotonic phytosteroid and an active compound of the traditional Chinese medicine ChanSu which exhibits significant anti-tumor activities in many solid tumors and leukemia cell lines. There are reports that bufotalin introduces apoptosis, and prevents migration and invasion of tumor cells. Hence, bufotalin has attracted attention in recent years as an anti-tumor agent. (The product is for research purpose only.)
