Palmatine chloride, a close structural analog of berberine [B0450] [B0451], is found in Berberis vulgaris and Coptidis rhizoma which are widely used as traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs).1-3) Palmatine chloride and its analogues have been reported to exert a wide spectrum of pharmacological effects, including anti-cancer, anti-oxidation, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotection, anti-bacterial, anti-viral and regulating blood lipids.4,5) (The product is for research purpose only.)
