Lysergol: A Pharmacologically Important Ergot Alkaloid
Lysergol is belong to the ergot alkaloids that are pharmacologically important indole alkaloids which are secondary metabolites produced by filamentous fungi such as Claviceps purpurea.1) Lysergol has important pharmacological properties that engage various serotonin G protein-coupled receptors such as serotonin 5-HT1A and 5-HT2 receptors.2,3) In addition, lysergol is a natural bio-enhancer which promote and augment the bioavailability of the pharmaceutical agents.4-6) (The product is for research purpose only.)
