Fluphenazine Dihydrochloride: A Typical Antipsychotic Agent
Fluphenazine dihydrochloride is a typical antipsychotic agent. Fluphenazine exerts activity at various levels of the central nervous system as well as on peripheral organ systems. Reportedly, fluphenazine acts as a dopamine D1 and D2 receptors antagonist.1,2) It also acts as a histamine H1 and serotonin 5-HT2A receptors inverse agonist.3) (The product is for research purpose only.)
