Sofalcone: A Gastric Antiulcer Agent
Sofalcone is a stable synthetic analog of sophoradin, which is found in Sophora tonkinensis, an herb used in traditional Chinese medicine. Sofalcone has been used as a gastric antiulcer agent, and is known to induce the expression of Heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) in gastric epithelium. (The product is for research use only.)
